Couple Advisors
A self-directed program for adult couples who want to discuss communication, expectations, and shared decisions. AI can organize general information, compare stated preferences, and facilitate structured conversations between adults.
Initial availability: verified adults age 18 or older located in New York. The software does not evaluate relationship health, safety, compatibility, or likely success.
What It Is
Couple Advisors offers general information and structured conversation tools. Participants decide which topics are relevant and whether to discuss them.
General information, conversation prompts, and optional activities. Participants decide which topics are relevant and whether to discuss them.
Each person answers non-clinical questions. The software displays similar or different selections without interpreting them or deciding what the couple should correct.
No psychological testing, diagnosis, counseling, psychotherapy, marital or family therapy, treatment, crisis intervention, or individualized professional advice.
“You are communicating with an artificial-intelligence system, not a human.”
This disclosure appears at the beginning of each interaction and is logged.
Adults who voluntarily want to discuss communication preferences, responsibilities, schedules, finances, parenting, family obligations, or other shared decisions.
Anyone seeking psychological assessment, counseling, therapy, treatment, crisis intervention, abuse assessment, or professional relationship advice.
Anyone concerned about immediate danger or coerced participation.
Safety limitation. Couple Advisors cannot determine whether a person or relationship is safe. In an emergency, stop using the program and contact 911, 988, or an appropriate professional or support organization.
Discussion Topics
The questions introduce subjects for discussion. They are not psychological tests and produce no clinical score, diagnosis, risk classification, or professional conclusion.
Listening, expressing preferences, and discussing disagreements.
Schedules, responsibilities, finances, parenting, and family obligations.
How work, time demands, and other responsibilities may affect communication.
User-selected listening and discussion activities for general, non-clinical use.
The software may display similar and different responses. It does not score attachment, emotional safety, relationship stability, compatibility, conflict severity, or escalation risk.
How It Works
Each participant works in a separate account. Nothing appears in a joint view until each person has previewed it and separately authorized it.
Each participant verifies identity. Credentials, payment data, and private safety information remain separate.
IndividualUsers answer non-clinical questions about preferences and discussion topics.
IndividualThe software neutrally restates selected answers without drawing psychological conclusions.
AI-assistedEach user previews the specific information proposed for joint display and separately authorizes sharing.
IndividualAuthorized similarities and differences appear without interpretation or recommendation.
TogetherParticipants select a general discussion activity and may provide optional usefulness feedback.
TogetherVoluntary Participation
Agreeing to participate in one activity does not authorize future sharing. A change in the sharing model requires renewed permission.
Withdrawal screens and notices use neutral language and protect the reason for leaving.
Limited Uses of AI
The AI performs five narrowly defined tasks. It does not evaluate, diagnose, or prescribe.
Restates selected answers without evaluating personality, mental health, attachment, trauma, or relationship functioning.
Identifies authorized similarities and differences. Users decide whether they matter.
Explains the chosen topic and presents general discussion prompts.
Provides general information without interpreting conditions or giving individualized relationship advice.
Summarizes reviewed topics and records the activity chosen by the users. It does not prescribe an intervention.
Guided Conversation Activity
Both users expressly give permission before recording, transcription, analysis, storage, or sharing.
Safety Limitations and Resources
“You are communicating with an artificial-intelligence system, not a human.”
The software may identify certain self-harm or danger-related language. Automated detection can make errors and cannot determine intent or risk.
When designated language is detected, the activity may stop and display 911, 988, crisis-text, or other resource information.
Couple Advisors does not promise to contact emergency services, conduct a safety assessment, or intervene. The AI will not assure users that they are safe, decide whether abuse occurred, or advise anyone to remain in a potentially unsafe relationship.
Immediate danger: stop using the program and contact 911 or an appropriate emergency service.
Subscription Terms
No uncapped balance accumulates. The exact cost appears before paid use begins.
One participant is the billing account holder. The other participant cannot authorize charges to that account. The payer affirmatively accepts each overage or additional activity charge.
Users may cancel online through the enrollment medium. A retainable confirmation explains recurring charges, separation, unused time, refunds, disputes, and termination.
Privacy and Information Control
Each participant controls an individual account with separate authentication and privacy settings.
Users preview and separately approve information before joint display.
Authentication, device, payment, safety, and withdrawal data remain private.
A participant cannot export the other participant’s private account information.
App information is not represented as privileged clinical or treatment information.
We describe verifiable safeguards below rather than making broad privacy promises.
Administrative and Security Controls
Required for users and administrators.
Staff document a legitimate reason before accessing intimate user content.
Production API keys and payment credentials use controlled secrets management.
Solo use provides general material and never analyzes an absent partner.
Any review follows a written protocol with defined staffing and response times.
